You can now enter online - we've created a webpage so you only have to type in a few details, select your categories, and hit the 'Send Entry' button, and your entry will be automatically emailed to us. Div 2/3 Cup Competition – entries in by Nov 20th

Don’’t let Stroud walk away with the trophy this year - get your entry in now  ! This competition is free to enter and open to all Div 2 and 3 teams. The first round matches shall be played over the Christmas period. This competition provides a great opportunity for a few extra fixtures, and to see a few different faces ! Reply to this email to enter.

Thanks to everyone who has been entering results. Everyone is up and running now, so no excuses for late entries (otherwise the penalties listed below will be imposed) !

If your fixture has to be postponed, then email me to let me know the re-arranged date. ( Please see the league rule regarding cancelled fixtures below.) If you are having any problems then ... let me know !

County Closed Competition Details

 

Date: 2/3/4 December 2011

Venues: East Glos Club, Old Bath Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire GL53 7DF and Cheltenham College, Thirlestaine Road, Cheltenham,GL10 2AD

All entries in by 18th November 2011

 

1) Please be available to play at these times. First match times and venue details will be emailed one week prior to the event.

 

Friday 2nd December 6.00pm – 9.00pm

 

Saturday 3rd December 9.30am – 9.00pm

 

Sunday 4th December 9.30am – 6.00pm

 

(2) Cost is £5 per event, with cheques payable to GSA to or via Internet

League Rules

(1) You must enter the results within 7 days, otherwise you will be deducted 5 points. If you fail to enter the result within 14 days the match will be awarded as a 20/0 w/o to the away team.

(2) Match cancellations. If two teams agree to postpone a match they must fix a new re-scheduled date at the time the match is postponed.  If the teams fail to play on the re-arranged date, the fixture shall be awarded as a –5/20 walkover to the team team who wanted to play on the re-arranged date (as an incentive that all fixtures are played.)

If a new date is not agreed at the time a fixture is initially postponed, and more than 48 hours notice of the cancellation was given the  penalty is -10/15 and with less than 48 hours notice it is -10/20.

If any away team cancels with less than 48 hours notice then they have to pay the home team £20 to cover costs.
